Our Story

We met the modern way — on Hinge — where Nigel wasted no time letting Monique know he was interested. After poking her (yes, poking is still a thing!), he slid into her inbox with confidence and intention, saying he liked what he saw and wanted to get to know her better. He didn’t waste any time—his message was clear: “I want to make you mine.”

Normally, Monique would’ve rolled her eyes and hit block, but something about Nigel felt different. So she gave it a chance. Their first date was at Jojo Beloved, where Nigel showed up late (don’t worry, he’s made up for it ever since). As they left the bar, Monique stood by the door, waiting. When Nigel didn’t open it right away, she smiled and said, “Are you going to get the door?” A guy nearby chimed in, “I know that’s right—check him early!” From that moment forward, Nigel has opened every door for her. Literally and figuratively.

What many don’t know is that not long before they met, Monique had written down the exact qualities she prayed for in a husband. When Nigel came into her life, it didn’t take long before she found herself on her knees, thanking God for sending the very man she had envisioned.

Ours is truly a God-sent love — full of purpose, alignment, and grace. We’re beyond grateful for one another and for the beautiful family we’ve created together. This is just the beginning.

Travel Recommendations

We encourage guests to begin their travel on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
Due to time differences and long flight durations, we recommend arriving in Santorini no later than Friday, May 29, to ensure you’re rested and ready for the celebration.

Flight Options & Travel Tips

Option 1: Fly directly into Santorini (JTR)
– The most convenient choice, but often more expensive due to limited flights and a smaller airport.

Option 2: Fly into Athens (ATH)
– Then take a short domestic flight or scenic ferry (approximately 5–8 hours, depending on type) to Santorini.
– This option may offer more flexibility and lower airfare overall.
